Textiles Partnership at the Sustainable Fashion Summit
We will be at the Sustainable Fashion Summit in Frankfurt on 10 September; as a partner of the event and with a joint booth together with the Green Button (Grüner Knopf). This year's event combines the Digital Fashion Summit, Sustainable Fashion Summit and Fashion Supply Chain Summit. Both on-site and virtual participation is possible.
Representatives of the Partnership members C&A, Primark, Hugo Boss and Tchibo will give insights into their work and present best practices from their companies in keynotes and live talks. In a panel on "Sustainable business: How can the fashion industry become a credible pioneer?", Gunther Beger, Head of the department Global Health, Private Sector, Trade, Rural Development at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is one of the speakers.
Among others these topics are on the agenda:
- Strategy and communication: How can the fashion industry credibly become a pioneer for sustainability?
- Can fast fashion also be fair fashion?
- Sustainability from a holistic perspective: Strategies of leading fashion brands
