Bündnis für nachhaltige Textilien
Members' Meeting 2017

The third Members' Meeting of the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles was attended by more than 150 Partnership members and guests in the Quadriga Forum in Berlin on October 11, 2017.

The meeting focused on insights from roadmaps completed by each member. Mr. Silberhorn, Secretary of State, acknowledged the implementation of roadmaps within the process. He thanked the members for their commitment and demanded they resolutely continue on this path.

The question "Just pay more? On the way to living wages" was discussed by Christa Luginbühl (Public Eye), Frank Hoffer (ACT), Henning Seidentopp (Melawear), Lary Brown (Esprit), Martin Curley (Fair Wear Foundation), and Mark Starmanns (BSD Consulting). The discussion showed that a single actor cannot solve this problem — new forms of cooperation are crucial for success.
